Turned fire safety education into an accessible, browser-based practice experience families can use together.

Cause For Alarm National Campaign
Bringing Fire Safety Education Into the Home. Instead of teaching fire safety through static instructions alone, the experience places users inside a familiar home environment where they can explore risks room by room. Contextual hotspots reveal guidance around smoke, carbon monoxide, appliances, alarms, and other hazards, helping families connect safety information to the spaces they live in every day.
Contextual Hotspots
Places safety content directly where risks occur, making information easier to understand and remember.
Deeper Editorial Learning
Allows users to move from quick summaries into more detailed educational content when they want to learn more.

Making Fire Progression Visible Before It Becomes Real. The simulator helps families understand how quickly a fire can escalate by visualizing its progression across time. Rather than relying on abstract warnings alone, the experience shows environmental change directly inside the home, turning critical safety data into something immediate, visual, and emotionally clear.
Time-Based Escalation
Lets users compare stages of fire growth and understand how quickly safe conditions can disappear.
Immediate Risk Awareness
Turns abstract statistics into visible experience, helping families grasp urgency more intuitively.
Turning Preparedness Into Shared Action. Learning is only the first step. Practice Mode challenges users to apply what they’ve learned through a timed fire drill that simulates the urgency of escaping safely. By pairing the standard experience with a dedicated kid-friendly mode, the platform supports shared participation, helping parents and children rehearse together in a way that feels approachable rather than overwhelming.
Timed Escape Drill
Introduces urgency through a countdown-based escape challenge, helping users rehearse what to do before a real emergency happens.
Kid-Friendly Participation
A dedicated child-friendly mode simplifies the experience and extends participation beyond adults, making preparedness a family activity rather than an individual one.
